Lecturer Profile

Katharina Diem

Lecturer
Katharina Diem is a designer and intuitive explorer whose work lives at the intersection of visual communication, cultural reflection, and inner experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Interaction Design from FH Joanneum Graz and has been recognized with two Red Dot Design Awards. A traveler of worlds, both outer and inner, her creative process is guided by curiosity, openness, and a deep sensitivity to what truly nourishes us. Katharina’s approach embraces the coexistence of philosophy and technology, body and mind, research and intuition, weaving them into meaningful design that resonates beyond the surface. Never an either-or, but rather recognizing the interplay within everything. Exploring, creating, and transforming both self and surroundings is an ongoing journey in her practice. Her projects spark moments of reflection, connection, and wonder, drawing inspiration from diverse cultural influences alongside yogic and energetic traditions. Passionate about socio-relevant themes, she creates work that resonates deeply on both a soulful personal level and within broader societal contexts.
This project is implemented with the support of the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
